Of course every marketing project is different, and so every plan will differ as well. The attached sample marketing plan, though, is a good, general example of a plan overview and check-list. This type of project would fall into the category of campaign design, since it is an overview of several marketing programs whose purpose is to further one strategic goal.

In many cases, each individual program within a campaign will require its own detailed project plans, calendars, budget documents and checklists. It is always a good idea, though, to have an overview document so that you have a feel for the campaign “at a glance.”
